Short answer. Park Street runs from Chowringhee Road (J. L. Nehru Road) southeast to the Park Circus 7-point crossing. It is named for the deer park of Sir Elijah Impey, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in Calcutta from 1773 to 1789, and it is now known for its landmarks and for lights at Diwali, Christmas and New Year's Eve.
