# Invcity

Invcity is a city intelligence and discovery platform that maps the real service economy of urban environments through people, places, businesses, neighborhoods, culture, infrastructure, and everyday life. It functions as a structured knowledge layer for cities — capturing not just coordinates and listings, but the routines, relationships, and economic behavior that define how a city actually works.

The platform organizes urban knowledge across multiple dimensions: commercial infrastructure (local businesses, markets, professionals, services), cultural geography (neighborhoods, landmarks, historical context), civic patterns (transport, transit flows, institutional presence), and editorial narrative (research, journalism, city stories). Each city profile is a living document — updated, versioned, and structured for both human readers and automated consumption.

Content is organized hierarchically: countries contain city networks, cities contain districts and neighborhoods, and neighborhoods contain places, businesses, and points of interest. Every entity carries structured metadata, taxonomy tags, and relational links to adjacent entities within the city graph. This graph-based model enables traversal across dimensions — from a business in Mumbai to the market district it belongs to, to similar markets across other cities in the network.

Coverage currently includes Indian cities (e.g., Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Goa) as the initial knowledge base, with the architecture designed to extend across global city clusters. The platform publishes structured data via JSON-LD, maintains an XML sitemap for discoverability, and exposes content through predictable URL patterns suitable for web crawling and programmatic access.
